New Member Applications

Applicants must submit an application. All applicants are required to register an account on the website before they are tagged as probationary members.

Once an application has been reviewed, an officer will contact the recruit for guild tagging as a probationary member. A thread in the Officer forum will be created for each new recruit, where officers may post comments good or bad.

Probation Period

All new recruits will undergo a probationary period. In that time they should spend as much time as possible interacting with the guild - grouping with members, attending events/raids, being active in guild chat, etc. If the officers are satisfied that the person fits in with the guild upon completion of the probationary period, the applicant is promoted to full member. We understand that some of you are uncomfortable with the English language. We would like to encourage you to do your best. Remember that you all speak English as a second language far better than most of the English speakers can manage in any of your languages. Nobody will fault you for doing your best to communicate.

The standard probationary period is 4 weeks. In rare cases the probation period may be adjusted (2 week minimum / 8 week maximum) at the Officers discretion, agreed upon by other officers. If there are still concerns over the suitability of a recruit at any point during their probation period they will be removed from the guild. Probationary members are not entitled guild bank items until they become full Members. Recruits will not be allowed to bid DKP on loot until they attend at least 3 raids (1 week of raiding) with the guild. Standard DKP rules still apply (see Raiding/DKP rules).
